About
Chelsey Santry, a veteran of the denim industry, founded Ética, a Los Angeles-based brand. With years of experience as a merchandiser, a creative director, and eventually co-founder of a contemporary women's label, Santry witnessed a great deal of waste in the industry. In 2019, she launched Ética, providing a sustainable and eco-friendly alternative to conventional jeans. According to Santry, Ética significantly reduces water usage by 99%, energy consumption by 67%, and chemical use by 70% compared to industry standards. The brand has committed to fair labor, environmentally conscious manufacturing, and social responsibility since its founding.
